Go to Viewing Options (http://www.livejournal.com/manage/settings/) and pick your layout. The only problem is that none of the old ones are going to be updated with the new stuff any more. And while I'm sure there's a workaround, especially for notifications, it's more than a bit annoying.
I switched mine back when they changed it the first time so I didn't even notice till lj logged me out after a few days. >> But they seem to get uglier at every turn... or I just like the bright colours of the first one :D; whichever.
