...Ok, I was wrong. The Cybermen were pretty un-menacing even before "Doomsday." What about half the writers seem to miss is the real scary thing about them is the conversion process. In and of themselves, they're kinda laughable. The allergy to gold does nothing to help matters, of course.

Doesn't it just tell you everything you need to know about me, when I say that I only realized Thanksgiving was this week because there was inexplicable pie in the fridge, with a large note to the effect of 'eat this and you'll be fed to the kitty'.

Probably tells you something about my family as well. I'm the only one who likes to cook, in reportedly several generations on both sides. Everything on the table will be made with loving care by the deli at the local Shaws, except maybe the mashed potatoes. The fact that we're even doing anything this year is amazing, as my parents have been known to forget holidays, unless a non-family member was coming over.

As for me, I like tradition-type celebrations. Gives me the excuse to do my hair and wear something nice, even though I'm not going out. (What can I say - I'm a theatre brat, and costumes are key.)

I just hope no one asks me what I'm thankful for. Cause this year? Sucked harder than a [insert your own pervy metaphor of choice].

Dude. I so didn't know Neil Gaiman wrote for Babylon 5. Duuuude. Haven't seen the episode in question (it's in season 5; I'm on season 2), but dude. How cool is that?
